There should be a better way

Klevr started with a problem we kept running into ourselves. Building an audio plugin is hard work. Licensing and delivering it is a different kind of hard: keys, activations, downloads, and the whole customer relationship around them. The two have to work together, and there was no simple, low-friction way to make that happen. We thought there should be, so we built it.

The point is to support the people doing the creative work, not to get in their way.

We build to strengthen the relationship between developers and their customers, never to stand between them. When licensing and delivery are done right, they should feel seamless, close to invisible. That’s the bar we hold ourselves to: simple, reliable, and transparent. It scales alongside you as you grow, and it never takes ownership away from you.

We come at this from audio first. Klevr was started by musicians, producers, and developers who ran into this problem firsthand and decided to build the thing we wished existed. We’re here to support the creative work on every level, whether that’s building and getting your software out into the world, or someone using it to make music.
